Sometimes it Helps to Cry a Little

I cried today. I was watching a short film and there was a moment that sent tears streaming down my face. Happy sort of tears. I dont think that it was only the film that made me cry. Not that it wasn't a compelling moment, but as I let the emotions take over, I felt relieved and almost as though I had gotten rid of some negativity. I wasn't sad, nothing in my life is that intense and I dont cry often to begin with. But it had been a while, and when the tears were gone I felt so much better. It's just nice to embrace your feelings once in a while and to not hide them or push them away.
